Yarabi

Yarabi〔(Yarabi biography at "MusicMix" ). Retrieved February 12, 2010.〕 is a Romanian dance-pop and house act of international success.〔(Yarabi has also success in Polonia ) Original 30 August 2007.〕 The band has success in its country of origin Romania, in addition to Poland, France, Bulgaria, Turkey, Hungary, Moldova, Italy, Spain and is credited to be one of the most successful Romanian dance bands along with O-Zone, Morandi and Akcent. Yarabi consists of Ionut Cristian Tiu (known as "IC Tiu") - the man behind many projects (composer, orchestrator and sound engineer) and Adrian Filipidescu (known as "Fillip"), former vocalist of "Marfar" band.〔

Adrian Filipidescu (Fillip) is a talented vocalist, he has advanced musical studies and he was the lead singer of the Romanian rock band "Marfar" in the beginning of 2005.〔(Yarabi biography at "LastFM" ). Retrieved February 13, 2010.〕
Yarabi became popular quickly in Romania after the first couple of songs, as well as in other countries. They have an original sound, good powerful voice, they sing in Romanian, English and South Pattan.〔
Summer 2007 was Yarabi's recognition for their work in music on the international market level. After numerous concerts in Bulgaria, Turkey, Hungary it followed concerts in Poland.〔
Yarabi participated to a great musical event organized by the biggest radio in Poland, Radio Eska, an event which is broadcast live by Polish national television.〔 At the concerts in Poland, tens of thousands of spectators have sung along with Adrian Filipidescu and IC Tiu the song "Yarabi".〔
International success in 2006-2007 of the first track named "Yarabi" taken from the album with the same name confirmed the conclusion of a contract with renowned worldwide licensing agency to Intercont Toco International Music.
Yarabi was number one in Romania at Radio Horion for 3 weeks in top 30 and in Turkey (on Top 40 at Radio Mydonose and Radyo 5). Also they reached top 100 in Spain (Central FM – national radio), France (Discoid – Paris and Radio Contact – national radio), Greece (Hot Station), Bulgaria (Radio Express), Belgium (Star Radio), Germany (Radio Butega – national radio). Yarabi have also represented Romania at the “European Song Contest” held in Stockholm, an online music contest, based on the public’s request, where they had great success.
Yarabi songs were top hits in Poland in 2007 and even appeared on several compilations of success as "Popcorn Hits Lato 2007", "Bravo Hits", "The best lato 2007", "Wiosna".〔
