Traversella is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about north of Turin. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 372 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Traversella contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Chiara, Cappia, Succinto, Delpizzen, Cantoncello, Fondo, and Tallorno.
