Sorbolo is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Parma in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about northwest of Bologna and about northeast of Parma. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 9,211 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Sorbolo contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bogolese, Casaltone, Coenzo, Corte Godi, Enzano, Frassinara, and Ramoscello.
