Pontenure is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Piacenza in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about northwest of Bologna and about southeast of Piacenza. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,575 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Pontenure contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Muradello, Paderna, and Valconasso.
