XHMPM-FM is a Spanish-language Top 40 radio station located in San Blas, Mexico, serving Los Mochis, Sinaloa. It broadcasts on 98.9 MHz on FM, and it formerly broadcast on AM as XEMPM-AM 1030 kHz.
==History==
On November 2, 1980, Francisco Pérez Alvarado got a concession through Radio Topolobampo, S.A. to operate XEIF-AM at 1240 kHz, its transmitter was located in the small town of Charay, Sinaloa. then was changed its callsign to XEREY-AM branding it as "Radio Reyna" relocating it to San Blas, and on September 5, 1995, "Radio Reyna" had changed its name and callsign again with XEMPM-AM as "Radio Fama" 1030 kHz. In 2010, the station changed its name to "La Pesada" with a Regional Mexican format and local news. At this time, the station was only on AM, until it received authorization from Cofetel to migrate from AM to FM on 98.9 MHz.〔()〕
After the failure of "La Pesada", Radiosistema del Noroeste affiliated with MVS Radio to launch its Exa FM format in Los Mochis, effective May 14, 2011.〔()〕
