It lies in eastern Transylvania. The commune is composed of four villages: Hagota (''Hágótő''), Pintic (''Péntekpataka''), Recea (''Récefalva'') and Tulgheş. == Demography == At the 2011 census, 70.8% of inhabitants were Romanians and 28.8% Hungarians (Székelys).
