Possagno is a comune in the Province of Treviso, in the Italian region Veneto. It is located about northwest of Venice and about northwest of Treviso. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,154 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 Possagno borders the following municipalities: Alano di Piave, Castelcucco, Cavaso del Tomba, Paderno del Grappa. Antonio Canova (1757-1822), the great neoclassical sculptor was born in Possagno.
