Marown is a parish of the Isle of Man in the sheading of Middle. Historically it was in the sheading of Glenfaba. ==Parish== Marown has an area of approximately and is the only parish on the island that does not border the sea at some point. The River Dhoo flows through the parish. The current Captain of the Parish is Charles Fargher JP, who has held the post since 2001. The parish includes the villages of Glen Vine and Crosby, and it is in the electoral constituency of Middle. The Church of England parish church is St Runius church in Glen Vine. Crosby has a Methodist chapel.〔 〕 The parish primary school, Marown Primary School, was built in the 1980s, and is located in Glen Vine.
