Locatello is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about northeast of Milan and about northwest of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 785 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 Locatello borders the following municipalities: Brumano, Corna Imagna, Fuipiano Valle Imagna, Rota d'Imagna. The name of this village comes from the family name : "Locatelli", a noble Italian family.
