Gudgeri (Kannada: ಗುಡಗೇರಿ ) is a village is a village in the Kundgol taluk of Dharwad district in the Indian state of Karnataka.

==Village Information==
Famous theatre artist Basavaraj Nagarahalli who is popularly known as N Basavaraj hails from this village. Gudageri is just 5 km away from Kalasa, which is home village of Guru Govindabhatta and 4 km away from Shishuvinahala, home village of ancient poet Santha Shishunala Sharief. This village is also famous for Gramadevi Dyamavva Temple where 10 days of annual fair takes place during Dasara festival.
Shri. Mallikarjun Malali who belongs to Gudgeri is at his age of 78 and written many books and one longer sentence under caption 'Eshawar Begging Bowl' in English. One remarkable thing is that the poet has written in kannadda language incomplete one sentence consisting of one thousand an ten pages and till today it is continued by the kindness of Lord shiva. The literature which begins from the lord 'Amarnath cave' temple of Kashmir. The longest sentence under title of 'Ajjayya' is like an ocean of experience. There fore the same achievement was recorded in "Limca Book of Records" in the yearly edition of 2014. 'Kaggagalu' or 'Vachanagalu' have been written in three rows 'Tripadi' of twenty five thousand in numbers ().
Gudgeri has train connectivity to Bangalore and Hubli. Bangalore-Hubli-Vasco-Mumbai railway line is laid via this village. The village has road connectivity to Hubli, Lakshmeshwar, Savanur, Shiggaon and Haveri.
The village also has government primary health centre (PHC), government degree college, government PU college, government high school and primary school facilities.
Harjageri and ogyo keri are well known lakes of Gudgeri.
