Castell'Alfero is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Asti in the Italian region Piedmont, located about east of Turin and about north of Asti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,736 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Castell'Alfero contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Callianetto, Stazione, Casotto, Serra Perno, Noveiva, Moncucco, and Bricco Beretta.
