Anigunta

Anegunta, also spelled Anigunta,〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.elections.in/telangana/polling-stations/zahirabad.html )〕 is a village in the Zahirabad sub district of the Medak district in Telangana, India. The nearest cities are Bidar, Zahirabad, Sangareddy, and Hyderabad.
The Zahirabad Assembly constituency is a Scheduled Class reserved constituency of the Telangana Legislative Assembly. It is one of the 10 constituencies in the Medak district.
Anigunta is remote village in Telangana state, bordering Karnataka. The village is composed of four parts, the main village and three tandas (tribal areas). The village is approximately 250 years old. The head of village was Mohammed Sadath Ali who died 31 October 2014 at 99 years of age, and who was also an agriculturist and the village development officer. He ran the village for almost seventy years, from before Indian independence until his death.
The village is surrounded by mountains and 80% of the land is suitable for cultivation.
The population of the village is 2502 people (1300 male, 1200 female) as of 2011. The literacy rate was 65 percent, more than India's national average. A large portion of the population is composed of tribes who settled in tandas.
The most of village people are farmers, and the main corps are sugar cane, javar, and turmeric. The village is religiously diverse, with Muslims, Hindus, and Christians.
