WrestleCon (or Wrestle Con) is a professional wrestling event, and fan convention, founded in 2005. On April 6, 2013, Chikara took part in WrestleCon, held during the WrestleMania 29 weekend in Secaucus, New Jersey, holding an event, which again broke the promotion's attendance record. After 18 months off due to injury, it was announced on February 11, 2013 that Serena Deeb would make her return to the ring for Shimmer Women Athletes as part of WrestleCon on April 6, 2013. On February 20, 2013, The Ultimate Warrior confirmed on his official YouTube channel that he would be making an appearance at WrestleCon at WrestleMania 29 on April 7, 2013. In the same clip he spoke positively about Vince McMahon for the first time on his channel. His appearance was so popular that a second print run of tickets had to be ordered.
