Vohra ((パンジャーブ語:ਵੋਹਰਾ), (ヒンディー語:वोहरा)) is a surname. It is thought to originate from the Sanskrit word ''vhuya'', which means ''battle array.'' Vohras are members of the Khatri clan , they were true warriors and loyal and are originally from the Punjab region of India. They are one of the most respected caste.Vohras have now migrated to other parts of India like Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Gujarat.
Vohra is also Sunni Muslim surname. Bohra, Vahora, Vora, Vhaora are more common versions of this surname. Sunni Vohras are originally from the state of Gujarat in India, and the province of Sindh in Pakistan .
