Uamsho
Uamsho (''The Awakening'', Full name: ''The Association for Islamic Mobilisation and Propagation'') is an Islamist, separatist group in Zanzibar. It is one of the most widely followed groups in Zanzibar after political parties. Uamsho fights for the full autonomy of the Zanzibar Islands within Tanzania. Uamsho was officially registered as JUMIKI (Jumuiya ya Uamsho na mihadhara ya kiislam in Swahili language) in 2001 with the Registration no.149 under the Zanzibar government Society Act Number 6 of 1995 concerning the registration of civil society organization (Non Governmental Organisation)〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=頭皮のアンチエイジングで薄毛・抜け毛の悩み解消 | 肌のアンチエイジングはよく耳にされると思いますが、実は頭皮のアンチエイジングもあり頭皮の老化や白髪、薄毛や抜け毛などの悩みなど頭皮のアンチエンジングで解消！ )〕 But the name Uamsho has become much more popular than its original name. Uamsho's constitution declares its aim of returning Zanzibar to being a center of Islamic learning, applying Islamic law, and to make sure that Zanzibar has full autonomy rather than remains under the umbrella of the Union of Tanganyika and Zanzibar. According to the current ongoing collection of views about the new Constitution, more than half of Zanzibaris, including prominent people, support Uamsho activities and demand Zanzibar have full autonomy and the formation of a new type of political union like the European Union.
