The company was founded in March 2009, and is a division of CareerArc Group, which also operates Internships.com and CareerBeam. The company has offices in Burbank, California and Marlborough, Massachusetts. TweetMyJobs provides a social recruiting solution to connect job seekers with hiring employers. Job seekers can integrate their Facebook and Twitter profiles to receive highly targeted job matches and secure referrals to hiring employers. Employers can use TweetMyJobs’ social recruiting platform to promote their brand and distribute their jobs into Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn as well as all the major mobile operating platforms. TweetMyJobs also provides governments with a jobs platform that connects local constituent residents with businesses while providing government officials with robust analytics to see unprecedented insight into the employment preferences of their citizens.

Founded in 2009, TweetMyJobs helps job seekers find opportunities and receive targeted job recommendations by email, mobile or through Twitter and Facebook. TweetMyJobs’ technology, powered by its Social Network Interface (SNI) distributes company’s jobs across Facebook, LinkedIn and over 10,800 job channels on Twitter each one segmented by industry and location. Twitter job channels allow followers to be notified of new job openings in their desired industry or location through their Twitter stream.
On November 7, 2011, TweetMyJobs launched veterans.tweetmyjobs.com〔http://www.veterans.tweetmyjobs.com〕 as part of the Joining Forces initiative announced by President Barack Obama. Aneesh Chopra, the former CTO of the United States, wrote a blog post stating that "leaders in social media have joined the movement... Twitter, through TweetMyJobs, will reach millions of veterans through their networks."
TweetMyJobs’ government platform was announced on January 19, 2012 when the city of Atlanta, GA launched atlanta.tweetmyjobs.com〔http://www.atlanta.tweetmyjobs.com〕 to help Atlanta residents find work. The platform provides a place for Atlanta employers to find and connect with citizens at no cost, while offering job assessment tools to discover personal strengths and interests before beginning their job search. Subsequently, the government platform was launched in Newark, NJ, Houston, TX, Nassau County, NY, Ramapo, NY, Columbia, SC and the territory of Puerto Rico. On the launch of TweetMyJobs Houston on April 26, 2013, Mayor Annise Parker said “This is truly a game-changer for Houston.”.
On March 27, 2013 TweetMyJobs’ mobile app was recognized as the 2013 About.com Job Search Readers’ Choice Awards: Best Mobile App.
