Steineiche

''Steineiche'' is the first demo album by Swiss one-man black metal band Paysage d'Hiver. "Steineiche" is the German word for the holly oak tree; the tree is described on Kunsthall's website as the 'centre of the world'.〔http://www.kunsthall.ch/paysagedhiver.html〕 Originally released in a limited run of 500 hand-numbered CD-R copies,〔http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Paysage_d%27Hiver/Steineiche/29641〕 it was reissued in 2010 on CD.〔http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Paysage_d%27Hiver/Steineiche/452686〕
The original release featured a fourth track, "Déjà vu", which was not included on the 2010 reissue, presumably because it contained an uncleared sample of the David Crosby song 'Orleans' from his album If I Could Only Remember My Name.
