Signority has its headquarters in Ottawa, Canada. It was incorporated with Canadian Federal Government and the Province of Ontario on November 19, 2010 by two Canadian entrepreneurs: Jane He and Qingbo Jin. At inception, the company name was ''EPEink'' (Electronic Pen/Paper Electronic Ink) and the product name was ''GreenSignatures''.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 title=Interview with Jane He from EPEInk )〕 In January 2013, the company and the product were re-branded to ''Signority''.
The two founders believe that future businesses must operate by reinventing their precedence: businesses must be more efficient, sustainable, and greener.
