Rumburk : ウィキペディア英語版
Rumburk

Rumburk ((:ˈrumburk); (ドイツ語:Rumburg)) is a town in the Ústí nad Labem Region in the north of the Czech Republic. It has about 11,000 inhabitants and is famous because of its beautiful historical inner city with many historical sights, such as an old monastery.
The town has a border crossing with the German town of Seifhennersdorf.
== History ==

The first written document mentioning the location comes from 1298.
Until 1918, ''RUMBURG'' was part of the Austrian monarchy (Austria side after the compromise of 1867), in the district of the same name, one of the 94 ''Bezirkshauptmannschaften'' in Bohemia.〔Die postalischen Abstempelungen auf den österreichischen Postwertzeichen-Ausgaben 1867, 1883 und 1890, Wilhelm KLEIN, 1967〕
In 1938, it was occupied by the Nazi army as one of the municipalities in Sudetenland. The German-speaking population was expelled in 1945 (see the Beneš decrees) and replaced by Czech settlers, using the adapted name ''RUMBURK''.
