It was merged with Nærbø and Varhaug to (re)create the old municipality of Hå January 1, 1964. Its current population (2005) is 330. In the village there is a little church dating back to the Middle Ages. After a fire the church was restored and added to and is now a beautiful church. It is often open in the summer for visitors. Ogna has beautiful sand beaches and also a river where salmon fishing is very popular. Highway 44 which here also is a famous tourist route named "The North Sea road" is going right through the village and passes the church.
