Nigdi ((マラーティー語:निगडी)) is a suburb of Pune, India. It is about 18 km from Pune Station on the Old Pune–Mumbai Highway. Nigdi is towards the north-western tip of Pune. P.C.N.T.D.A. (Pimpri Chinchwad New Township Development Authority, पिंपरी चिंचवड नवनगर विकास प्राधिकरण)Area which is also known as Pradhikaran is a planned township. This total area is divided into several sectors. Although many areas of the city are added later on in P.C.N.T.D.A., Pradhikaran mainly refers to the area starting from Durga hill (दुर्गा टेकडी) - Bhakti-Shakti (भक्ती-शक्ती समूहशिल्प) to Akurdi Railway station - Ganganagar, which includes Sector number 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 A, 27 and 28.
