Molluscophobia is the fear of members of the mollusk family, such as slugs and snails. Like many other phobias, molluscophobia is seen as an irrational and/or ridiculous fear, due to snails and slugs being harmless to humans (''Homo sapiens''). ==Symptoms of molluscophobia== Symptoms of molluscophobia include but are not limited to * Being disgusted by snails or slugs. * Not wanting to go outside after rain. * Panicking upon seeing a snail or slug.
