Magkaisa
''Magkaisa'' (Tagalog for "unite") is a Filipino patriotic song that was composed by Tito Sotto and sung by Virna Lisa (Virna Lisa Loberiza - Mananzan).〔http://www.mb.com.ph/articles/214945/the-voice-behind-magkaisa#.USo-QR3rz5M〕
The song is one of several related to the People Power Revolution of 1986, along with ''Handog ng Pilipino sa Mundo'' and the patriotic anthem ''Bayan Ko''. The song was greatly popular with the masses in the days after the ouster of President Ferdinand Marcos and his escape to Hawaii on 25 February 1986. By 1 March 1986, it was already playing on every radio station and the associated music video being broadcast on every television channel.〔()〕
Sarah Geronimo covered ''Magkaisa'' during the funeral service of former President Corazón Aquino at Manila Cathedral on 5 August 2009.
