Lalmatie

Lalmatie popularly credited as Lallmatie is a small town in Mauritius. Located on the west side of Flacq District,〔(【引用サイトリンク】url= http://www.gomapper.com/travel/where-is/lalmatie-located.html )〕 it occupied a latitude around -20.1897222 and a longitude around 57.6611111.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.travelmath.com/cities/Lalmatie,+Mauritius )〕 It has a density of 793.5/km2 (2,055/sq mi) and a total population of around 11,910 inhabitants. Lalmatie is one of the most developed small towns in Mauritius and has a wide natural resources which include vast sugarcane fields, dense forests and rivers.
The town is sub divided into three plots, where the first is the commercial area know as Royal Road Lalmatie, the second which is the residential area where many inhabitants reside and the third is the natural area known as Giroday Road Lalmatie which consists of natural resources such as forest, sugar cane field and waterfall. Christianity, Catholic, Islam are practiced by Lalmatian but the most dominating religion is Hinduism, around 83% of Lalmatian are Mauritian Hindus.
The official language is English which is used for administration and Mauritian Creole is used for communication. Some inhabitants also speak their native languages which include Marathi, Bhojpuri, French and English.
