The station is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. and broadcasts at 102.1 MHz on the FM dial with an effective radiated power of 100 kW from a transmitter in the Franklin Mountains. Its studios are located along Mesa Drive in west central El Paso. They are also one of two Rhythmic Top 40s in the market; XHTO is the other. Rhythmic Oldies "Hot 93.5" can be heard on 102.1 HD-2 (HD Radio needed). ==History== KPRR, who made its debut with the format in September 1986 and patterned it after that of KPWR/Los Angeles, offers a more broad-based direction in its musical taste than most of the other Rhythmic Top 40 in the United States with its mix of R&B/Hip-Hop, Dance, Hurban and Rhythmic Pop fare.
