KNNN-LP is a low-power television station in Redding, California, broadcasting locally in analog TV on VHF channel 6. Founded September 16, 2003, it is owned by Venture Technologies Group. KNNN-LP is also simulcast on KEFM-LP, also owned by Venture Technologies Group, on channel 6 in Chico, California. Due to recent video problems with Tele Vida Abundante, both stations currently operate and market themselves as radio stations, using the audio portion of NTSC channel 6 (87.75 MHz) to broadcast audio (most FM radio receivers can receive this frequency at 87.7 on the low end of the FM dial). The stations currently air Spanish language Christian programming from Aviva Radio. As both stations are licensed as television stations, KNNN-LP and sister station KEFM-LP are required to operate both the video and audio signals. However, the video signal is so choppy that it looks like there are technical problems. KNNN-LP has a construction permit to flash-cut its signal to digital TV on channel 6 at 300 watts (formerly to channel 42 at 11 kW).
