Jagdalpur
Jagdalpur is a city in Bastar district in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. Jagdalpur City is governed by the Jagdalpur Municipal Corporation. Jagdalpur is the administrative headquarters of Bastar District and Bastar Division and was the capital of the erstwhile princely state of Bastar. Jagdalpur is the tourism capital of Chattisgarh and it is the 4th largest city of state, the business of city makes it comparison with Indore as it is also known as mini Indore mainly regarding with the cloth market bussiness. The city demographics is quite similar to bombay, that's why people called it 'The mumbai of chattisgarh' .It is also well known for its greenery, lush green mountains, deep valleys, dense forests, streams, waterfalls, caves, natural parks, monuments, natural resources, herbs, exuberant festivity and peaceful solitude. Other tourist attractions relate to Bastar's royal past and its tribes. Currently, two steel plants are being built near Jagdalpur by NMDC and Tata Steel. The completion of these projects will make Jagdalpur the prime industrial and commercial hub in the state.It is regarded as one of the beautiful city in our country. The city's demographic is changing rapidly and it has the fastest-growing population with high class economic in Chhattisgarh state . Many richer people are living in the city as compare to other city of the state. Jagdalpur is the 3rd costly land area after Banglore and mumbai in the country,The land cost is very high . The city has large number of semi urban area around it. The growth of city is making very fast and it will be one of the biggest and finest city of the state. The newly showroom of Mahindra Automobile in the city is the 5th biggest showroom in the county and 1st in central India.
The people of the city is very eco friendly types of nature. You can mainly watch the gathering of youths in chowpatty and near sirhasar. The celebration of Dusshera(September/October) is very famous and it is the best time for visiting in the city . The samosas of Milan hotel is very famous in the state and also the Gup-chups, If you are in Jagdalpur and you didn't taste Bobo Bajias then you miss the important part of the traditional food culture of the city. Jagdalpurians have a highly blessing of Danteswari devi and they were hardly devoted towards Mata Danteswari.
It is regarded as the heaven of earth.
