Go2
go2 is a mobile local search and location based service (LBS) owned and operated by xAd, based in New York City. It is an exclusively mobile LBS, and can be accessed via mobile optimized websites and an iOS and Andoid application.
==History==

go2 was founded and launched by Lee Hancock in November, 1999 with over 300 Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) mobile websites and was the first company in the U.S. to provide mobile, local search results based on the location over a wide network of mobile phones, including Sprint, Cingular, Nextel, AT&T and Verizon. It was ranked No. 1 by The Yankee Group in September 2000 in its Wireless/Mobile Services Report entitled "Wireless Internet Content: Three-Click Analysis of Real Estate on the Handset" published in September 2000. In May, 2002, go2 and AT&T launched the world’s first mobile Location Based Services application that used Automatic Location Identification (ALI) technologies mandated by the FCC. go2 users were able to use AT&T’s ALI to determine their location and search near that location to obtain a list of requested locations (stores, restaurants, etc.) ranked by proximity to the ALI provide by the AT&T wireless network.
