Ellapalayam is a Village Panchayat in Erode district, in the state of Tamil Nadu. Ellapalayam, located within Erode panchayat union, one of the suburban areas of Erode has an average population. Agriculture and Textile are the major occupations in this village. The major people move to nearby Periya Semur town for occupation.
