Dunkerrin () is a small village in County Offaly, Ireland, just south of Roscrea and near the County Tipperary border. It on the R445 road which was once the main road from Dublin to Limerick. ==Structures of note==
Franckfort Castle, although now demolished, the remains of the castle, built about 1730, include a Gothic style curtain wall, entrance and towers. There remain two yards and a walled field presently the location of a late 20th century farmhouse and outbuildings. Church of Ireland church building. A Board of First Fruits funded church built around 1820, with a four bay nave and a three-stage tower. A stile in the stone boundary wall which encloses the church yard provides access to Frankfort Castle. The southern, roadside, wall consists of an arcade of twenty recesses. A wall plaque reads, 'This wall was built by Francis Rollestown Esq. In the year 1757.’ Categorised as being of special architectural, artistic, social and technical interest

Ink Pot Gate Lodge, a derelict gate lodge, built on to circular plan about 1820. With a conical slate roof and a circular chimneystack. this derelict gate lodge has an amiable folly like character. Former Rectory, a detached three-bay two-storey farmhouse with attic and basement. Built as a rectory in 1830, with an oriel window at the first floor of the gabled central breakfront. Categorised as being of special architectural and technical interest.

Cast-iron water pump, erected around 1880, with a cow's tail pump handle. Located at the centre of the village it contributes greatly to the streetscape.
