The Danaini are a tribe of brush-footed butterflies (family Nymphalidae). Their type genus ''Danaus'' contains the well-known Monarch Butterfly (''D. plexippus'') and is also the type genus of the tribe's subfamily, the milkweed butterflies (Danainae).
