Ciemnik

Ciemnik (German: ''Temnick'') is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ińsko, within Stargard County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Central Statistical Office (GUS) - TERYT (National Register of Territorial Land Apportionment Journal) )〕 It lies approximately south of Ińsko, east of Stargard Szczeciński, and east of the regional capital Szczecin.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany, and the name of the village was ''Temnick''. Originally Temnick had been a fief of the German noble family ''von Delitz''.〔Robert Klempin und Gustav Kratz: ''Matrikeln und Verzeichnisse der Pommerschen Ritterschaft vom XIV. bis in das XIX. Jahrhundert''. Berlin 1863, (p. 426. )〕 The estate was sold in 1789 by Berend Ludwig von Delitz''.〔Heinrich Berghaus: ''Landbuch der Mark Brandenburg und des Markgrafenthums Nieder-Lausitz in der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts''. Band 3, Brandenburg 1864, (p. 498 )〕 Following World War II the native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles.
For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
The village has a population of 159.
