CFDT-FM
CFDT-FM was a tourist and travellers information radio station in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The station's main signal operated at 96.5 FM, and serving the city's east side, while its repeater, CFDT-FM-1 99.9 FM, served the west side of Ottawa.
==History==
On May 8, 1989, the CRTC approved an application by Petrie Telecommunications Ltd. to operate four low-power French and English-language FM tourist information radio stations in the National Capital Region located east and west of Ottawa along the Highway 417 corridor, on the frequencies of 96.5 MHz and 99.9 MHz. Although the applicant had originally proposed to use the 88.3 MHz frequency, it subsequently revised its proposal to utilize 99.9 MHz. Two transmitters were to be located at each site and operate with an effective radiated power of 6 watts.〔(Decision CRTC 89-263 ), ''CRTC'', May 8, 1989〕
It was unknown when the stations began broadcasting and when they were shutdown. No licence renewals had been filed with the CRTC.
