Ajmeria

Ajmeria or Ajmeedia or Ajmidhia is gotra (clan) of Jats found in India.
==Origin==
Some Ajmerias claim descent from Nila, the youngest son of Samrat Bharat.〔Jat Samaj magazine, Agra, September 1992 page-16〕 They were known as Ajmidhia or Ajmeria after Ajmidha.
According to another version, the Ajmerias were a group of people who came from the area around the city of Ajmer in Rajasthan and settled in various places.
