Sobotín ((ドイツ語:Zöptau)) is a village and municipality (''obec'') in Šumperk District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. The municipality has a population of 1,246 (as at 1 January 2010). 1 January 2010 from the municipality Sobotín separated new municipality Petrov nad Desnou, including the village of Petrov nad Desnou and settlement Terezin. Before separation the municipality Sobotín covers an area of , and has a population of 2,444 (as at 2 January 2009). Sobotín lies approximately north-east of Šumperk, north of Olomouc, and east of Prague. One of the more important landmarks in the village include the Klein family mausoleum. Kleins were a family of German businesspeople who were very active in the life of the village.
