Louisiana State Route 60 (LA 60) was one of the 98 original state highways that were established in 1921. It ran in a south to north direction for , spanning from Cote Blanche Bay to LA 2.

LA 60 was designated as a short route, connecting Centerville to points south. Starting at an intersection with LA 2/US 90, LA 60 followed Bayou Sale through the marshes, providing access to Cote Blanche Bay. It served no true purpose as a route, other than providing access to oil fields and small communities.
