Louisiana State Route 3

Louisiana State Route 3 (LA 3) was one of the 98 original state highways that were established in 1924. It was split into two separate segments, with the southern section running in a south to north direction for , spanning from Baton Rouge to the Mississippi state line. The northern section ran for from Vidalia to the Arkansas state line, in a south to north direction.

"Beginning at the Arkansas State Line near Miliken, thence through Lake Providence, Tallulah, St. Joseph, to Vidalia, also beginning at the line between Louisiana and Mississippi near Morganza through St. Francisville to Baton Rouge." - 1924 Louisiana Legislative Route Description, with Morganza listed as an erroneous town.
